How can we help?
Superride is made by one independent developer. Most answers are below; for anything else, write and you will get a reply from the person who builds the app.

It helps to include your iPhone model, the iOS version and, for a route problem, the route file or a screenshot.
About the app
What does Superride do?
Superride is route weather for cyclists. Open a route and you get the verdict first: a Ride Score out of 100, one sentence on how the ride will feel, and the wind on the way out and the way back. The track is coloured by the wind along your direction of travel: blue for tailwind, red for headwind.
Below that: passage times, the best start time in the week ahead, what to wear, food and drink for each leg, and charts of wind, elevation and temperature along the ride.
Where does the weather come from?
From Open-Meteo, using high-resolution national models where they exist (such as the Met Office UKV at 2 km in the UK, Météo-France AROME, DWD ICON-D2 and NOAA HRRR) and a global model everywhere else. Apple Weather is a backup source. When the models disagree, Superride shows the likely range from the ensemble forecast.
Forecasts are estimates and can be wrong, especially for gusts, showers and thunderstorms. Always check the conditions yourself.
Why is the wind lower than in my weather app?
Weather apps show the wind 10 metres above the ground. Superride colours your route with the wind at rider height, which is lower. The point card shows both numbers so you can compare. Gusts are always shown exactly as forecast.
Does it work without a signal?
Your last forecast for recently opened routes stays available offline. A new forecast needs an internet connection.
Subscription and trial
How does Superride Pro work?
Everything in Superride comes with Superride Pro, an auto-renewing subscription: weekly, or yearly. The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial, once per Apple Account. Prices in your currency are shown in the app before you subscribe.
If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How do I cancel?
In Superride: Settings → Superride Pro → Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone: the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Superride.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Superride Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
I already subscribed. How do I restore it on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Superride and tap Restore purchases on the Superride Pro screen, or go to Settings → Superride Pro → Restore purchases.
If the app says “Connect to the internet to continue”, it couldn’t check your subscription yet: connect and tap Try again.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are made through the App Store and handled by Apple, so we can’t issue refunds ourselves. You can ask Apple for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Routes, Strava and Ride with GPS
How do I add my own route?
Superride opens GPX, TCX and FIT files. In the Routes tab, tap Import a route and pick the file in the Files app, or share a route file to Superride from another app (Mail, Safari, Files or your route planner). The route is saved in your library on your iPhone.
New to the app? Open the demo route, “The Great Escape”, to see a full forecast first.
How do I open my Strava or Ride with GPS routes?
In the Routes tab, tap Connections and sign in to Strava or Ride with GPS. Your saved routes appear in the list. With Strava, Superride can also replay one of your past rides on the same route, so passage times follow your real pace and stops.
Connecting is optional; files work without any account.
Strava sign-in says it is limited. What now?
Strava limits how many riders a new app can connect while it is in beta. If you see this message you can still use the demo route or import a GPX file, and Strava sign-in will open up as Strava raises the limit.
What happens to my Strava data?
Routes and rides from Strava are stored only on your iPhone, shown only to you, and kept for at most 7 days. They are never passed to any AI service. Disconnecting Strava in Connections revokes access and deletes that data from your iPhone at once. You can also revoke access on Strava under Settings → My Apps.
Privacy and your data
Do I need an account?
No. Superride has no accounts and asks for no name, email address or phone number. It doesn’t use Location Services, advertising or analytics SDKs.
How do I delete my data?
Almost everything lives on your iPhone, so you can delete it yourself: Settings → About & legal → Delete all my data. This disconnects and revokes Strava and Ride with GPS, deletes your sign-in tokens, imported routes, forecasts and cached data, and resets your settings.
The anonymous profile used for purchases is held by our in-app purchase provider, Adapty. To have it deleted, email us; if you bought Superride Pro, include the order ID from your Apple receipt so we can find it.
Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
